Every year, hundreds of children in Jefferson County need safe, supportive homes. The Jefferson County Foster Care Summit offers a unique opportunity for community members, foster parents, and professionals to come together and learn how to make a difference in these children's lives. This year’s event takes place on May 16th from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 982 Easter Parkway. The Foster Care Summit is an effort to help our community learn about seven foster care agencies and the Cabinet for Health and Family Services; the opportunity to talk to representatives from each; hear from foster families; and hear from lived experiences.
