On any given day, there
are 1.5 million children with one or both parents in prison. Of
that number, 200,000 boys and girls have a mom who is behind bars.
Stark statistics show all too common tales of abuse and neglect
which make it clear that more options for caring for these
children are required.
What is Operation Open
Arms?
We at Operation Open Arms,
Inc. are dedicated to finding families who want to provide these
children with a loving, caring, nurturing home whether it be for a
few months, a few years or even longer. We will help with medical
needs, clothing, housing, food and whatever is needed so that
families can be allowed to take care of these children in a normal
loving home they so deserve.
